Research Interest
I am interested in the cellular and molecular mechanisms that govern development of a complex nervous system. This includes differentiation of stem cells into highly specific neuronal and glial subtypes, guidance of processes to desired targets, and formation and maintenance of synapses. I am currently rotating in the lab of Alex Kolodkin where we study the intrinsic and extrinsic factors involved in growth cone migration in developing neurons.
