Research Interest
I am interested in the neural and computational mechanisms underlying multi-sensory integration during learning and memory. By actively sampling their environment and filtering out irrelevant information, organisms can update their knowledge of the surroundings, which in turn informs and shapes their decision-making policies. Gaining insights into these processes could significantly enhance our understanding of the cognitive strengths and limitations of biological systems. I am currently rotating in Prof. James Knierim’s lab where we study the sensory integration process in head direction system and hippocampus during spatial navigation.
